Thank you so much for your support in 2025. I can’t believe it - 10 million plays, 645,000 hours, across 180 countries. For those of you who’ve been with me from the start (circa 2013), you'll notice my sound has evolved over the years - from the funky 80s, new jack and romantic synthwave pop of Graduation and Sophomore to the cinematic neo noir of Nightlife and Internal Affairs.

Sunglasses Kid has always been about world building and storytelling - whether it’s a high school drama or an epic crime saga - I’ve always loved using music and sound design to transport listeners to another time, place or feeling.

The new album, Internal Affairs 2: Diplomatic Immunity (coming soon), expands the world of Internal Affairs, and I’ve also started very early ideas for the concluding chapter in my high school trilogy, which may take a darker turn and even into a new decade.

I’m so grateful to everyone who has joined me on this journey and seen the world from my P.O.V.

So, wherever you are in the world, and whatever is happening in your life, I hope my music continues to offer you some escapism and a chance to be the main character, if only for a few hours, the way the movies and video stores of the 80s and 90s used to.

INSANE! Videos using my music on TikTok just reached a billion views, with Badge and gun accounting for 950 million. I don't pay much attention to TikTok metrics but got a little notification yesterday that engagement was up and opened the dashboard for the first time to see a B - as in B for billion. I was like, 'what the f is happening!?'. The power of social media and creators to amplify musicians is out of this world. A massive thank you to everyone who has shared my music through sketches, creative content and general posts on both platforms - Instagram and TikTok. It's an incredibly surreal feeling to be the soundtrack to so many posts, and I never take this for granted. I continue to be in disbelief.

I've been in the jungle beating the hell out of clay jugs, working on the next album and taking another social media break with some meditation time! ��The new album is going to be called Internal "Affairs: Diplomatic Immunity" and will be expanding the world and the sounds of the first album whilst still including some of the popular tracks I shared demos of that never made it onto album one.
